Newman Medical ABI-Q System

The Newman Medical ABI-Q System (#ABI-Q) is a convenient, minimalist system that accurately measures for peripheral artery disease (PAD). This system includes a computer, ABI-Q software, and two EZ-Clean vascular cuffs with inflator.

Warranty: 2 Years.

The Newman Medical ABI-Q System encourages PAD testing, with a quick and convenient method. All it takes is to simply wrap the cuffs around the patient’s ankles, inflate the cuffs, and use the ABI-Q software to perform a PVR. The ABI-Q system creates a report detailing the results of the test, risk factors, current symptoms, and ICD codes.

Performing these tests routinely can save patients’ lives by detecting PAD early and starting treatments during early detection. Patients can often be asymptomatic, or believe that leg pain is caused by other reasons. By utilizing the ABI-Q System, the PAD testing can be done in office instead of being referred elsewhere, and is less affected by operator error, calcified arteries (such as in diabetic patients), or cold appendage temperatures.
