SleepSense PTFlow Sensor
The SleepSense PTFlow Sensor (# 1401-H) features a hanger that hooks directly over any brand of adult nasal cannula allowing you to test thermal flow and pressure flow simultaneously while providing comfort for the patient.
Comprised of heat-sensitive elements, the SleepSense respiration flow sensor is placed under the patient’s nostrils and produces a signal that is directly proportional to the temperature changes of air inhaled and exhaled during respiration. The sensor generates a small analog electrical voltage that provides a clear, reliable indication of respiration airflow. This sensor should be connected to the system’s thermal-flow input.
